Tekoa
is a full sister to the Verband stallions, Tempelritter and Tarim.
These stallions were imported to the US and were successful sires in
North America. She is also a full sister to the ATA Approved
Show Jumping Stallion, Tzigene.
Tekoa's family carries the name S9A Sabine
today, but can be referred to as the Toga family.

Tekoa's sire
Condus, born in 1964 was approved at Neumunster in 1966. He
stood at Gestut Putter, FRG until 1974. He continued his stud
duties in Germany until 1980 for C. Heuckeroth. In 1981 he was
imported by Harry Zimmermann and stood for a year at his Ontario
farm in Canada. From 1982 until his death he stood at
Zeitgeist Trakehner Farm in PA. In the years 1980 to 1981 he
was rated the #1 sire of money winning dressage horses within the
Trakehner breed in Germany. Condus produced a number of very
good daughters and sired the Grand Prix winners: Chrysos,
Lavinia *Pg* and Leonidas *Pg*.

Tekoa's
grandsire
Ramzes AA, born in Poland in 1937 was an Anglo Arab. He was
imported to Germany in 1948 and competed as a jumper. He stood
for mares in 1951 and 1952 to refine the heavy Warmblood horses in
the area. His sire was the great thoroughbred Rittersporn, while his dam
was the Shagya Arab, Jordi. Ramzes was an immediate success as
a sire. He bred show jumpers in Westphalia and produced dressage
horses. Producing five licensed sons he was sold to the
Netherlands where he was enormously successful as a sire of show
jumpers.
