A living legend..

E.H. Caprimond was the 1998 Trakehner Stallion  of the Year. He is an outstanding mahogany bay with an astounding  breeding  and  performance  career. His  pedigree includes such stallions as Karon, Arogno, Mackensen,  Flaneur,  Ibikus,  and Herzbube. In addition, his granddam  Pr. St. Coeur-As was full sister to Uwe Sauer's Grand Prix Horse Caro Bube.

Of the many sons produced by Caprimond, Timotheus is the only Approved Trakehner Son in North America!  His prepotency has been amazingly  consistent in  that he  always passes on  his beautiful head and neck,  his  superb character and temperament, correct  conformation, and  his incredible  ability to perform dressage. He is approved by many “Registries”  and   has been ranked  #1  in production for "type" in  the Hanoverian Yearbook of Stallions since 1994. He is also ranked #11 in the yearbook for dressage.

Caprimond’s performance  record  is very impressive. He was  "Reserve Champion" at  his  stallion  testing  in 1987, "Champion" of  his 100 day test with a dressage index of 147.76, and was the German National  “Reserve Champion ”three year old riding  horse in  1988.  After his stallion testing in 1998, he began  his dressage career.  At  seven years old  he was successfully performing “S” level dressage. Then a few years later at  age eleven  he was winning at Grand Prix!

Caprimond was successful in Grand Prix Dressage competitions with his rider Theresa Wahler until the age of 19.

E.H. Caprimond has sired many approved sons;  however,
Timotheus is the only ATA  Approved  Son in North America!

Following in his father’s footsteps is E.H. Hohenstein who was the “2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year” in Germany and presently ranks #5  in Germany for "breed type."  This  elegant black stallion who stands out in a crowd with  amazing  presence,  also  inherited  his sire’s expression, type and character. Hohenstein  has exceptional gaits and  rideability.  His performance  record   includes:   “Champion” of   the  1993   stallion   testing,  “Reserve Champion" of  his  performance testing,  winning in the rideablity portion, and  in 1995 Hohenstein was Trakehner “Champion” and third in the Federal “S” Championships. By seven he was winning his first “S” level dressage  tests. Passing on his superb temperament, type, conformation  and dressage ability he produced over 13 approved sons. His offspring are now “Champions” and selling at a very  high priced in Germany;  one being the lovely Hanoverian  2002 approval stallion His Highness  (Donnerhall / FeinerStern) that sold to the US for 515,000 Euro - Hanover's most expensive Champion ever!
